International HIV Teenage Awareness and Teenage Pregnancy Program
The International HIV Teenage Awareness and Teenage Pregnancy Program of NNCF Calbayog Foundation
is dedicated to educating and empowering the youth through awareness, prevention, and community support. Guided by the foundation’s mission and vision of promoting holistic community development and compassionate service, the program focuses on increasing awareness about HIV prevention, reproductive health, responsible decision-making, and the importance of healthy lifestyles among teenagers.
The program was further strengthened through a partnership with representatives from the Calbayog City Health Office, who actively participated in discussing important topics related to HIV awareness, teenage pregnancy prevention, reproductive health education, and youth wellness. Their collaboration provided valuable medical insights and practical guidance to help educate young individuals about the challenges and responsibilities they may face.
Through seminars, open discussions, counseling, and community outreach activities, the program aims to reduce stigma, encourage informed choices, and create a supportive environment where the youth can grow into responsible, healthy, and empowered members of the community.
